EX

EX, otherwise known as Extra Skill, are abilities that the player and all relevant story characters possess. There are 3 types of Ex classifications: Support, Combat, and Utility/Spirit. The player can freely equip 2 EXs simultaneously: a Support and Combat EX.

EX Levels

The player can upgrade their EX level by obtaining EX points, which can be done through participating in events or using EX Catalysts. Increasing levels increases the extent of all unlocked EXs, but the level at which they're upgraded differs from skill to skill. There is a cap on EX levels of which are dependent on player level. If the player's EX points exceeds the level cap, it will be stored and automatically used when the new level is unlocked. The higher the player's level, the more points they can receive from an event or catalyst.

Support

Support EXs are class-exclusive skills. Each class has 2, for a current total of 8. Such EXs are listed on their separate class pages.

Utility

There are 3 utility EXs, of which can be seen to the leftmost of the EX panel.

Dash	Feel the wind blow past your ears. Boost your agility and reactions with the EX for the ultimate extreme sports experience!
Third Eye	Is what you see really real? Watch the surroundings through a dragon's eyes to see clues or entities you would not normally see.
Mirror Eyes	I will watch your eyes and brush your hair. Parse the Draconic in gear with EX: Mirror Eyes, and activate the corresponding Draconic Gallery.

Combat

Combat EXs are one of the 2 types of universal EXs. There are a total of 15 unlockable ones, each with different requirements. The below descriptions are written at max breakthrough.

Description	Upon reading the D-Cypher, a hot jet of flames shoot out, dealing damage. In the coming 10 seconds, the flames burn enemies and lower the afflicted targets' physical and magic defense by 20% and greatly increasing fire attack. When the number of targets hit by the skill is less than 3, there is a 50% chance of resetting the Scorch cooldown.

Description	In an instant, the air is heated to an extremely high temperature and causes a giant blast, dealing huge damage. For the next 16 seconds, damage taken and super armor is reduced by 20% and burns any enemies that approach, reducing their damage dealt by 10% and magic and physical defense by 20%. 10% chance to immediately immediately trigger EX: Scorch every time burn damage is dealt.

Description	Drain all fire power within 100 meters and gain super armor/ When the Black Sun takes form, it takes an absorption shield tit the user that absorbs damage. While this shield is active, the user becomes immune to all control effects, max 10 seconds. It also quickly pulls nearby enemies to its center and inflicts aerial, then inflicts a huge amount damage before knocking them away. The enemy that receives the last hit will suffer continuous Dark Flame Erosion, causing 10 seconds of continuous additional damage and reduces all healing effects by 100%. Once casting is finished, the player will receive the No Retreat effect, 1% of HP will be lost every second, but inflicted damage is increased by 30%. Invincibility is also gained, lasting for 10 seconds.

Description	Swirls air to form a whirlwind, knocking down and pushing back surrounding enemies, dealing massive damage and reducing movement speed by 30%. Casting Tyrant's Eye grants Blessing of Wind, increasing endurance recovery speed by 20% and having a 10% dodge chance for 120 seconds. Casting Tyrant's Eye while Blessing of Wind is active grants a 50% movement speed boost as well as greatly increasing CRIT. and cooldown levels for 15 seconds. After breakthrough, the casting time is reduced to 1.8 seconds.

Description	Removes all unnecessary material from the affected area, enhancing the player's physical and magic defense, increasing movement speed by 40%, reducing all damage taken by 40%, and makes the player invulnerable to CRIT. damage. Continuous damage is dealt to approaching enemies. However, the player's damage dealt is decreased by 30% due to isolation from the outside world. Every 6 seconds, Dust Buster releases a hurricane blast that knocks away nearby enemies to a distance of 8 meters. This knockback effect can only be used once every 30 seconds; the hurricane will leave a small EX: Tyrant's Eye in its place, which lasts for 3 seconds. Dust Buster can be cast when the player is under a silenced or pull control states, and becomes immune to these effects when active.

Description	Exerts Curse of Deep Cold on 2 targets, dealing damage to all targets within 5 meters around them every second. Each time Winter deals damage, its next dealt damage increases by 10% and can be stacked 10 times, decreasing movement speed by 50%. Winter then spreads winter to all nearby targets, freezing them. This effect can only be used when casted by the player.

Description	Command the vortex to converge into a Water Shield to protect the player, absorbing all damage within 20 seconds. Class skill cooldown speeds are increased by 15% within that duration. Shield damage absorption is increased by 100% at level 6 breakthrough. When the shield breaks, it deals AOE damage to nearby enemies, slows them down by 20%, and reduces their endurance recovery speed by 100% for 5 seconds. The breaking of the shield will release EX: Winter to 1 random enemy that has taken damage. When the player has the blessing of the vortex shield, the effect of a broken shield will be triggered every 7 seconds.

Description	Uses EX to freeze the land beneath to create a growing tundra range up to a radius of 8 meters. The enemy target on top of the tundra will constantly receive damage and greatly reduce movement speed, cooldown, and the damage they deal. Increasing warmth can reduce the above debuff effects. Staying on top of the tundra for more than 2 seconds will be frozen for 5 seconds. Every enemy player within Glacier will have all healing effects reduced by 100% and water damage received increased by 30%. When on the tundra, the player's own elemental defense will be boosted greatly, physical damage taken reduced by 20%, and class skill cooldowns reduced by 20%. After the tundra is extended to the maximum, the enemy will immediately be frozen if they leave the Glacier area.

Description	Thunderclap centers at the location of the target, which explodes after a 3 second delay and deals massive damage to all enemies within 5 meters. The targets are then inflicted with Delay for 2.5 seconds. There is a 20% chance to detonate immediately, and a 30% chance to pierce the targets, dealing double damage. Casting Thunderclap charges the body with electricity, causing the next 5 attacks to be imbued with electric charge, dealing massive AOE damage. Detonation leaves behind an ion field for 6 seconds, with a 30% chance per second for enemies to be struck with lightning.

Description	Controls the electric charge within the environment, and collects it into a larger ion field. The radius of the field is increased by 5 meters, dealing damage to enemies every 0.25 seconds and paralyzing them, increasing magic damage taken by 15% while reducing the duration of their super armor effect by 1 second, lasting 8 seconds. If the target stays in the electric field for more than 1 second, they will be silenced for 3 seconds. EX: Thunderclap bursts from the electric field every 5 seconds.

Description	Places a small Forbidden Zone of Creed, silencing all enemies in the area and reduces the targets' magic and physical defense, CRIT., AP, and multistrike level. Bonus dodge rate is reduced to 0 and all elemental defense is greatly weakened. Allies' movement speed is reduced by 30% and enemies using dodge and aerial dash in the circle has endurance consumption increased by 100%. Every time an enemy player dies in the circle, the remaining cooldown time of Creed is decreased by 8 seconds. This effect works up to 3 enemies each time Creed is activated.

Description	Summon the Sword of Damocles with the power of Heaven, to carry out Holy Judgement on the enemy. Inflicts massive damage and delay on enemies, and dispels super armor. A single target's physical and magic defense is weakened by 20%, their CRIT., AP, and multistrike levels are lowered by 10% for a set amount of time. Inflicts additional damage to targets with less than 50% HP. If their HP is lower than 20%, additional damage is dealt. If the player kills an enemy while the skill is active, they will receive a set amount of HP and the enemy that was killed will self0destruct. carrying out Holy Judgement on targets within a 3 meter radius. If a Holy Judgement spread by a dying player kills another player, it will not cause them to self-destruct.

Description	Sentences all surrounding enemies to death, causing huge damage. This EX cannot miss. Judgement's damage increases by 20% and causes an extra 35% damage to players below 20% HP, with a chance to cause instant death. Once this EX is released, a Field of Judgement remains in the origional location and continues to cause damage to enemies within range. Players in the Field of Judgement who have less than 10% HP will suffer instant death. Every time this EX inflicts damage, it decreases target's physical and magic defense, stacking 8 times.

Description	Gathers the alight air and jets the flame into a hurricane, releasing a deadly tornado that sweeps enemies at the front of the line. Deals heavy damage and knock targets into aerial for a while. Deals higher damage to one target by 15%, and can be stacked up to 5 times. Each damage dealt dynamites the burn effect, dealing 150% of the remaining burn effect. The Fire Tornado ignites targets nearby, burning them for 10 seconds, dealing heavy damage continuously. 50% chance to grant the player 30% increased movement speed or 20% increased CRIT. damage for 20 seconds. During breakthrough level 7, the Fire Tornado Duration increases by 60%.

Description	Use EX to make enemies within the area suffer gravity dozen times stronger than normal, dealing massive damage to enemies within a 5 meter radius for 5 seconds. Each time damage is dealt this way, it has a 100% chance of knocking the target down with 30% extra damage dealt to them. Also creates a speed reduction effect that gets gradually stronger, dealing extra damage based on the slow effect the targets have. Extra damage rate grows as the targets' movement speed falls lower and eventually reaches 50% on 0 speed. The targets are then bound. The Sovereign's Field has an aftershock effect of 3 seconds. The player receives a shield when channeling the EX field, which absorbs massive damage for 5 seconds and grants 6 seconds of immunity to control effects.
